The Artist & Vision

I believe jewellery should be more than decoration — it should carry meaning, story, and a human touch.

My name is Yoko d'Arnaud, and I'm the artist behind Celsius Ceramics. Every pendant, earring, and pieces are shaped by hand in my New Zealand studio. Drawing on both Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy — the beauty of imperfection — and the raw landscapes of Aotearoa, I create wearable art that celebrates individuality.

The Process

Each piece begins with a simple lump of clay. It's:

1. Shaped by hand — never mass-produced

2. Glazed in small batches with unique textures and colours

3. Fired in the kiln to bring out natural variations

This slow process means no two pieces are ever the same — your jewellery is truly one-of-a-kind.
